About the Role
We’re looking for a versatile Content & Copywriter to help us turn technical topics into clear, engaging content. Your main focus will be blog posts and social media content that educate, attract, and convert our target audience.
You don’t need to be a developer, but you must be comfortable learning new technical concepts (software, APIs, data tools, etc.) and turning them into content that’s easy to understand and enjoyable to read.
What You’ll Do:
Write blog posts
- Research and draft long-form and medium-form blog articles
- Turn technical/product information into clear, structured posts
- Optimize posts for readability and basic SEO (headings, structure, internal links)
Create social media content- Write Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and other short-form posts based on product updates, blogs, and ideas
- Repurpose blog content into threads, carousels, snippets, and short posts
- Propose content angles and campaign ideas for social channels
Understand the product & audienceLearn how our product works and what problems it solves
Interview the founder/team (occasionally) to extract insights and use them in content
Research our niche, competitors, and target personas to refine tone and topics
Content planning & execution
Help build and maintain a simple content calendar
Suggest topics based on keyword ideas, user questions, or industry trends
Deliver content on a regular, agreed schedule
Must-Haves
Excellent written English
- Near-native or native-level writing
- Strong grammar, clarity, and flow
- Ability to adapt tone (educational, conversational, slightly technical, etc.)
Ability to learn technical topics
- Comfortable reading docs, articles, or specs and turning them into simple explanations
- Able to ask good questions to understand a new concept or product feature
- Can write about tools, APIs, software, or data-related topics without “fluff”
Strong writing discipline
- Can follow a brief and deliver on time
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating on drafts
- Can structure content logically (hooks, intros, body, CTAs)
Research skills
- Able to quickly gather information from credible sources
- Can understand what’s relevant and what’s noise
- Basic understanding of what makes content trustworthy and useful
Nice-to-Haves (Bonus)
- Experience writing for SaaS, dev tools, data tools, or technical products
- Understanding of SEO basics (keywords, meta descriptions, on-page structure)
- Experience with Notion, Google Docs, or similar tools
- Familiarity with Reddit, Twitter/X, LinkedIn content styles
- Portfolio with articles, blog posts, or social content in tech or related fields
