We are seeking a highly skilled and business-driven Store Manager to lead the operations of Herlife’s first physical store. The Store Manager will be responsible for the P&L management of the offline line of business, leading and motivating the sales team, and driving daily sales growth in line with monthly and quarterly targets.
This role requires a unique combination of retail expertise, team leadership, and a strong understanding of the health & beauty sector. The Store Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the physical store becomes a benchmark retail destination, while also serving as an integrated channel supporting Herlife’s eCommerce vertical.
Key Responsibilities :
Business & P&L Management
- Own the P&L of the physical store, ensuring profitability and cost optimization.
- Set, monitor, and achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and implement in-store strategies to drive traffic, conversion, and average basket size.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales & operations team.
- Foster a culture of customer-centricity, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Implement performance management processes and incentive schemes.
Retail Operations
- Ensure smooth end-to-end store operations, including merchandising, inventory control, cash management, and compliance.
- Implement SOPs for customer service, returns, and after-sales support, aligned with Herlife’s eCommerce standards.
Sales & Customer Experience
- Deliver an exceptional customer journey by combining expert consultation, personalized service, and product education.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute in-store campaigns, activations, and seasonal promotions.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to improve store performance.
Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with eCommerce, category, and marketing teams to ensure the offline store complements online strategies.
- Align assortment, promotions, and campaigns across channels to create an omnichannel shopping experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related fields (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail or sales management (experience in health, beauty, or pharmacy retail is highly desirable).
- Proven track record in P&L management and achieving aggressive sales targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading sales teams.
- Excellent knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and customer experience best practices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
