Core CS Engineer

We are hiring a Core CS Engineer to operate and optimize CS, IMS, and Service Core platforms, ensuring reliable voice and multimedia services across 2G–5G networks. The role focuses on node operations, troubleshooting, KPI optimization, and supporting capacity planning and upgrades.

Responsibilities : 

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot CS Core nodes (MSS, MGW, UDM, SPS) and IMS nodes (P/I/S-CSCF, BGCF, MGCF, TAS, SBC).
• Support service core platforms (VoLTE, VoWiFi, SMSC, MMSC, USSD, IN/OCS).
• Perform fault management, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for voice/SIP/RTP issues.
• Conduct performance monitoring and KPI optimization
• Execute capacity planning, license management, and hardware/software upgrades.
• Contribute to the design and planning of IMS/VoLTE/VoWiFi, CS Core modernization, and migration projects.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams (RAN, PS Core, Transmission, IT).
• Prepare technical documentation, change requests, and regular performance reports.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in CS Core, IMS, or Service Core operations/planning.
• Strong knowledge of CS/IMS architectures, SIP/SDP/RTP/Diameter/SS7/MAP/CAMEL protocols.
• Experience with major vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, ZTE).
• Good understanding of VoLTE/VoWiFi, interconnect, numbering, routing, and signaling.

Preferred :

• Experience with 5G IMS/VoNR and cloud-based IMS (VNF/CNF).
• Certifications in VoLTE/IMS/SIP or operator-specific training.
