Network Admin

Summary:

The Technical Expert in Network is responsible for designing and deploying Network across all business units. They oversee high-level network infrastructure projects in the DC and DRC, ensuring that core networks comply with international standards. The role also includes managing Internet service providers, network suppliers, and maintaining network assets.

Responsibilities:

·       Design, configure, and maintain data center and network infrastructure across the zone, countries, and stores, ensuring stable connectivity, accurate information flow, and adherence to communication standards.

·       Ensure network security and reliability, including WAN protection, system stability, minimal downtime, proper asset utilization, and compliance with all safety and security procedures.

·       Lead Disaster Recovery activities, such as maintaining the network DR plan, SD-WAN solutions, building DR centers, performing periodic tests (e.g., backup line tests), and applying corrective actions to minimize operational impact.

·       Manage external partners, including internet service providers and network vendors; monitor and optimize communication performance; integrate new technologies; and stay updated on the latest retail network innovations.

·       Support operations and new projects, including network setup for new store openings, assisting country IT teams with new initiatives, and providing 3rd-level support to HO and stores within SLA requirements.

·       Maintain documentation and company know-how, ensure confidentiality, propose improvements and action plans to enhance productivity, and report any activity that may affect proper company operations.

·       Collaborate effectively with colleagues, end-users, suppliers, and helpdesk teams, providing remote/phone/email support and evaluating new technologies when needed.

  Required Skills:

·       CISCO certification in Data & Network Infrastructure is a must (CCNA/CCNP)

·       Knowledge of Network Security and Internet setup is a must

·       Knowledge of Wi-Fi and Wireless Technologies is required

·       Knowledge of Firewall devices is a must

·       Knowledge of Network traffic analysis and QoS
