Job Description:

As an Elastic Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for:

•  Designing and deploying the ELK infrastructure
•  Installing, configuring, and managing Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats in Development, Staging, and Production environments
•  Designing cluster architecture to ensure scalability, high availability (HA), and fault tolerance
•  Building Logstash or Beats pipelines to collect logs from various sources (web servers, applications, databases, operating systems)
•  Implementing filters, parsers, and Grok patterns to normalize and structure data
•  Managing indices and index templates
•  Implementing ILM (Index Lifecycle Management), snapshots, and backup strategies
•  Optimizing Elasticsearch performance based on server resources and data volume
• Creating analytical dashboards and visualizations in Kibana
•  Defining alerts and monitors using Kibana Alerting or Elastalert
•  Configuring SSL/TLS, users, roles, and permissions via X‑Pack Security
•  Monitoring data security and preventing unauthorized access
• Integrating ELK with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, and SIEM platforms
•  Working with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for large‑scale data ingestion
•  Monitoring cluster health, logs, and server resources
•  Troubleshooting performance issues, pipeline failures, or data‑related problems

Qualifications:

•  Strong proficiency with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats
•  Familiarity with Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, and monitoring tools
•  Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
•  Attention to detail in configuration and data management
•  Teamwork, responsibility, and proper documentation skills
•  Interest in monitoring, observability, and automation
