Senior Linux System Administrator

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL, Rocky Linux)
Design and implement reliable, secure, and high-availability system architectures
Continuously monitor system health and performance using tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, or Grafana
Automate repetitive tasks using tools like Ansible, Bash scripting or Python
Contribute to system security by implementing hardening best practices (e.g., CIS Benchmarks)
Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies
Analyze system logs, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure system stability
Collaborate with networking and support teams for integrated system operations
Document all configurations, processes, and system architectures
Be available to work outside of regular office hours as required for maintenance, updates, and emergency response.

Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years professional experience in Linux system administration in enterprise environments
Strong expertise in Linux systems (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky Linux, etc.)
Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and automation tools
Good knowledge of networking concepts (firewalls, NAT, VPN, DNS, etc.) and related services (e.g., Nginx, Apache, Postfix)
Proficient in shell scripting (Bash) and one additional scripting language (Python or Perl preferred)
Familiarity with system security and access control (SELinux, PAM, sudoers, etc.)
Understanding of system security practices and patch management
Strong troubleshooting  and documentation skills
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure, including:
Active Directory (user/group management, GPO)
Windows Server roles (especially DNS, DHCP, File Sharing)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to system maintenance and problem-solving.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
