We’re hiring a Senior Business Developer to own go-to-market and commercial growth for Argoman’s portfolio and studio services. You will build pipelines, close strategic revenue and partnership deals, create repeatable GTM playbooks for incubated ventures, and work closely with product, engineering and the investor relations functions to convert experiments into sustainable businesses.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and execute end-to-end business development for studio services and portfolio ventures: prospecting → qualification → negotiation → close → onboarding.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline (enterprise, B2B SaaS, public sector and large channel partners) across MENA (priority: Gulf, Levant, North Africa).
- Convert pilot projects into recurring revenue (SaaS/subscriptions, licensing, managed services).
- Design and operationalize repeatable GTM playbooks and pricing frameworks for different venture archetypes (fast-validate, standard, deep de-risk).
- Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, NDAs, and business contracts with customers and partners in coordination with Legal.
- Co-create strategic partnerships (consultancies, system integrators, universities, government agencies) to accelerate customer acquisition.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering and KM to feed market insights into product roadmaps and go/no-go decisions.
- Define success metrics and report weekly/monthly on pipeline, forecasts, bookings and churn.
- Mentor and grow a small BD/partnerships team; document playbooks and handoffs for MOATify templates.
- Represent Argoman externally (conferences, partner meetings, investor updates).
Required qualifications & experience:
- 6+ years total experience in business development, sales or partnerships; at least 3 years in senior individual contributor / lead role.
- Proven track record closing enterprise or large B2B SaaS deals (preferred in AI, automation, analytics or adjacent enterprise software).
- Experience with pilot → production commercialization and SOW/managed services pricing.
- Strong connections and experience selling to organizations across MENA (Iran, GCC, Levant, North Africa) — demonstrated network preferred.
- Excellent commercial negotiation skills and experience working with legal/contracts.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations in a fast, iterative environment.
- Fluent in English; Persian (Farsi) fluency strongly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to work fully on-site in Tehran.
