Windows Desktop Developer (Full-Stack)

About the Role
We're looking for a Windows Desktop Developer to build end-to-end desktop applications for the Windows platform. You'll create feature-rich, performant applications from UI to backend, delivering polished, installable software that users can download and run locally.

What You'll Do
- Develop native Windows desktop applications with modern UI/UX
- Build backend services and integrate APIs to power application features
- Design and implement local and remote database solutions
- Create installers and manage application distribution and updates
- Optimize application performance and ensure reliability across Windows versions
- Debug, test, and maintain production desktop software


What We're Looking For

Core Skills
- Strong proficiency in at least one: C#/.NET (WPF, WinForms, WinUI), C++ (Qt, Win32), or JavaScript/Python (Electron, Pythotn as backedn)
- Experience building complete desktop applications from concept to deployment
- Solid understanding of databases (SQLite, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar)
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs—both consuming and building them
- Experience with application packaging and installer creation (MSI, MSIX, or similar)

Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of Windows architecture and desktop development best practices
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and modern development workflows
- Experience with local data storage and synchronization
- Knowledge of application security and update mechanisms

Working Style
- You take ownership of features from design through shipping
- You write maintainable code and value good documentation
- You're comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments

Nice to Have
- Cross-platform development experience macos or web
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD for desktop apps
- Understanding of code signing and security certificates
- Previous startup or scaleup experience
