The HSE Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and Snapp Group’s internal standards. This role supports a safe and sustainable workplace by identifying potential hazards, mitigating risks, and promoting a strong safety culture across all business units. The position requires close collaboration with operational teams, contractors, and management to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards, national regulations, and internal KPIs
- Conduct risk assessments, JSA, incident investigations, and environmental impact reviews, and drive continuous improvement actions
- Prepare and maintain accurate HSE reports, records, audit documentation, and performance data
- Deliver HSE training, lead safety awareness initiatives, and collaborate with internal departments and contractors to strengthen safety culture and environmental sustainability
- Monitor workplace conditions and ensure safe working practices across all operations
- Coordinate emergency response drills and support contingency and crisis management planning
- Continuously review and update HSE practices in line with regulatory and technological changes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in HSE roles, preferably within large organizations or logistics/construction sectors
- Strong knowledge of HSE laws, standards, and risk management practices
- Proven experience in HSE inspection, training, and incident investigation
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office and data management tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure with attention to detail
