Job Description

About the Role & Team

The Fashion Category Sales Team is responsible for managing and growing sales across Apparel, Footwear, Accessories, and Sportswear.
By analyzing sales performance, monitoring KPIs, understanding market trends, and collaborating with Buying, Sourcing, Marketing, Content, and Operations teams, this team drives assortment optimization, campaign effectiveness, and market share growth.

The Category Sales Senior Specialist plays a key role in managing the performance of one or more subcategories, ensuring a healthy assortment, accurate listing, strong availability, and high-quality seller support to maintain smooth commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sales performance of one or more Fashion subcategories (e.g., bags, shoes, apparel).
• Monitor and analyze key commercial KPIs: NMV, GM, Availability, OOS, Rate of Return, and Market Share.
• Collaborate with the Buying team on stock planning, OTB proposals, and replenishment cycles.
• Track stock levels and take actions to reduce Out of Stock and improve Availability.
• Identify assortment gaps and recommend new SKUs based on data and market trends.
• Coordinate with Marketing on major campaigns like Black Friday, End of Season Sale, New Collection, and Brand Days.
• Work with Seller Operations and Content teams to fix listing issues, pricing, size charts, attributes, and content quality.
• Support onboarding and performance improvement of new sellers within the category.
• Collaborate with Operations teams to track return issues, QC performance, warehouse SLAs, and inbound/outbound challenges.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and provide insights and improvement recommendations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Sales, Category/Product Management, Merchandising, or Seller Operations (preferably in Fashion).
• Strong command of Excel and familiarity with data analytics tools (BI, Data Studio).
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Good understanding of Seller Panel, marketplace commercial flows, and DKP/DKPC structure.
• Experience in campaign planning and cross-functional collaboration with Buying, Marketing, and OPS.
• Good knowledge of local and global fashion trends.
• Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment like Digikala.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related fields (Master’s is a plus).
