About the Role:
As a Business Data Analyst, you will closely collaborate with Product, Ad Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to evaluate campaign performance, optimize ad delivery, prepare reports, and support data-driven decision-making across the advertising lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Design, develop, and maintain analytical reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Metabase and other BI tools.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to understand analytical needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Define, monitor, and continuously improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Ad Service business.
- Support managerial and executive decision-making by delivering clear, actionable, and insight-driven analyses.
- Ensure data quality through validation, cleaning, and contributing to data standardization processes.
- Identify opportunities for growth, optimization, automation, and efficiency across products and business processes.
- Design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex analytical SQL queries.
- Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
Requirements:
- Up to 2 years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics, BI, Data Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
- Practical experience with BI tools such as Metabase, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc).
- High attention to detail with a strong data-driven mindset.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to convert raw data. into actionable insights.
- Ability to manage multiple analytical tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
