Job Description

A Helpdesk / IT Support Specialist at Karnameh is someone who understands how to keep our internal systems reliable, secure, and running smoothly. They’ve worked with real infrastructure—hardware, networks, telephony, and servers—and know how to diagnose issues quickly and efficiently.

How You Will Work at Karnameh
In this role, you’ll work with real systems every day: hardware devices, Windows / Linux Server environments, IP telephony systems, and enterprise-grade networks. You’ll make sure users can stay productive, that our infrastructure is healthy, and that issues are resolved before they slow teams down.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and operations teams, and you’ll be expected to approach problems with clarity, ownership, and a desire to continually improve our IT environment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues across servers, desktop PCs, laptops, printers, and both active and passive network equipment
  • Hands-on experience with Issabel / Asterisk IP telephony systems
  • Good understanding of Windows Server, including:Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS)
User/group management
Group Policy
File/print services
  • Familiarity with VMware ESXi and virtual machine administration
  • Practical knowledge of enterprise networking technologies such as Ruckus, MikroTik, and Ubuntu
  • Working knowledge of VoIP / SIP software and related configurations
  • Understanding of VPN protocols, tunneling, and secure connectivity
  • Ability to diagnose network and connectivity issues and provide effective end-user technical support
