Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join our Growth Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), as well as proficiency in creating insightful reports. This role requires a deep understanding of statistics, optimization, and financial analysis, along with the ability to predict future trends and optimize business operations. Proficiency in SQL, Python and PowerBI is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data ETL:
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
2. Reporting and Visualization:
• Create, maintain, and update interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and visual representations for stakeholders.
3. Data Analysis and Insights:
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business growth.
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
4. Predictive Modeling and Trend Analysis:
• Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and behaviors.
• Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to enhance prediction accuracy.
5. Optimization:
• Apply optimization techniques to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and objectives.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
• Familiarity with SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS for comprehensive data solutions.
• Analytical Skills:
• Deep understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with financial analysis and understanding of financial metrics.
• Ability to develop and implement predictive models and optimization algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the FMCG industry or e-commerce.
