Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead, design and optimize the day-to-day operations of our intercity freight platform. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of shipments from order creation to final delivery, while maintaining service quality, controlling costs and enabling the business to scale. The Operations Manager will work closely with operations, support, technical and finance teams as well as external logistics partners and play a critical role in improving operational performance and customer experience in a fast-growing startup environment.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Design, document and continuously improve operational processes for intercity freight transportation
  • Managing daily operations including order flow, routing, coordination with terminals and transportation partners
  • Lead and supervise operations and support teams to ensure high productivity and quality of service
  • Monitor and manage service levels (SLA), delivery times, error rates, and overall operational performance.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to improve operational systems and automate workflows
  • Analyzing operational data and preparing regular performance and productivity reports
  • Identify operational risks, bottlenecks and problems and implement practical solutions
  • Manage operational relationships with drivers, terminals and logistics partners
  • Control and optimize operating costs and resource utilization
  • Handling operational incidents and critical situations, including delays and customer complaints

 
Accusations:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in operations, logistics or related fields
  • Strong understanding of logistics, transportation operations or supply chain processes
  • Proven ability in process design, optimization, and operational problem solving
  • Experience in team management and cross-departmental coordination
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with project and operations management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, ClickUp or similar)
  • Familiarity with the concepts of SLA, KPI, SOP and process documentation
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-growing environment is an advantage.
