We are looking for a Technical Team Lead who is hands-on, technically strong, and capable of leading engineers while owning critical backend systems.

As a Technical Team Lead, you will:

• Lead a backend engineering team working primarily with PHP and Ruby
• Own the design and evolution of core platform services
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and system reliability
• Balance hands-on development with technical leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and drive technical execution
• Design and evolve scalable, high-availability systems
• Design asynchronous and event-driven systems
• Review code, enforce best practices, and improve engineering standards
• Participate in planning, estimation, and technical roadmap definition
• Identify performance bottlenecks and lead optimization efforts
• Support production systems and guide incident resolution
• Help hire, onboard, and grow engineering talents

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical leadership role
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL) and system design
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Comfortable being hands-on while leading others
• Strong willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, especially Golang
• Good understanding of security principles
