We are looking for a DBA Lead who can define and execute the organization’s database strategy, lead the DBA team, and play a key role in high-impact technical decisions across the organization.

 What You'll Be Doing:

• Define and execute the organization’s database strategy aligned with business and technical goals.
• Lead and grow the DBA team, managing performance, responsibilities, and professional development.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure technical and operational alignment.
• Ensure database security, stability, backup processes, and Disaster Recovery readiness.
• Optimize database architectures for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Manage database infrastructure changes with minimal downtime.
• Perform capacity planning and continuously monitor database performance.
• Standardize processes, maintain technical documentation, and manage database-related SLAs and KPIs.
• Provide technical leadership in key database-related decisions at the organizational level.

 What You Bring:

• Significant experience leading and managing database infrastructure at an organizational scale.
• Strong expertise in database architecture, HA, DR, security, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience leading a DBA team or serving in a similar technical leadership role.
• Ability to make high-level technical decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience designing and implementing standardized processes, documentation, and change management practices.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong operational understanding.
