We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our data team.
This role emphasizes analytical reasoning, problem definition, and solution proposal rather than deep technical specialization. You will work with real operational data, often starting from questions that are incomplete or not fully defined. Your responsibility is to turn these questions into structured analysis, monitor business data flows, and produce insights that help identify issues, explain outcomes, and support decisions—sometimes under time constraints.
The role requires ownership of analytical work from the initial question to the final recommendation.
Key Responsibilities:
Problem Definition & Analysis
- Translate unclear or partially defined questions into well-scoped analytical problems
- Clarify objectives, assumptions, and constraints before performing analysis
- Decide what data is relevant and what level of precision is appropriate for the question at hand
- Apply structured reasoning when working with incomplete or imperfect data
Data Analysis
- Query and analyze data primarily using PostgreSQL
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and case-specific investigations driven by concrete questions or incidents rather than scheduled reports
- Create and maintain dashboards where ongoing monitoring is required, with a clear understanding of what is being monitored and why
Monitoring & Business Flow Oversight
- Monitor data outputs and business flows for inconsistencies, anomalies, or unexpected patterns
- Identify and flag potential issues early and support investigations with clear analytical evidence
- Contribute analysis that helps distinguish data quality issues, process issues, and normal variation
What We Expect:
- Strong ability to define problems before attempting to solve them
- Structured and disciplined thinking rather than trial-and-error analysis
- A solution-oriented mindset that goes beyond reporting results and focuses on next steps
- Ownership of analytical outcomes from question formulation through recommendation
- Ability to remain effective in time-sensitive or high-pressure situations
We value learning speed and reasoning ability far more than specific technologies.
