The incumbent is responsible for brand portfolio strategy in JTI Near East Cluster. He or she will manage brand development efforts and tasks to achieve business objectives in line with A&SP, including new product launches and rejuvenations by developing 360 communication strategies for the cluster while closely liaising with the NPD manager to make sure that all initiatives are implemented in a timely manner. Maintain overall brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints to ensure that the brands resonate with the target audience.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
Market Understanding
- Develop deep understanding of Near East Cluster & its brands, to achieve key brand objectives towards Franchise and SOB, through in-depth market understanding using all strategic Insights reports & data, brand guidelines, Geneva HQ-led initiatives.
Portfolio Strategy
- Define solid brand portfolio and communication strategy for Near East cluster while performing ad-hoc business and brand strategy updates driven by specific business/market needs.
- Product and packaging mix: lead the implementation of NPD initiatives, through positive interactions with key involved functions.
Communication Strategy & Execution
- Brand guardianship: ensure high quality standards and strong consistency across the portfolio on all marketing programs and initiatives.
- Develop all the launch plans needed & actively support cycle planning to ensure further growth for the brands in charge
- Execute with excellency operational plans once initiatives are defined
Stakeholders Management
- Manage & positively impact company stakeholders:
- Create a positive perception, passion & excitement towards the achievement of brand aspiration in Near East Cluster
- Manage key markets stakeholders, especially Marketing, CA&C, Legal, and Commercial planning & Field Sales teams
Support Consumer & Brand Director
- Support Consumer & Brand Director for all tasks as they rise
- Take relevant part in key business reviews and ASP processes, supporting strategic planning with accurate and reliable analysis and forecast, business environment and RMC market trends
Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
Education
- Undergraduate degree (Marketing, Communication, Business or related fields are a plus)
Work Experience
- Working in international FMCG industry as a brand manager or supervisor for at least 4 years.
Language Skills
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
Functional Skills:
- Good understanding of planning & strategic plans
