As a Game Category Manager at Cafe Bazaar, you will
Own the Planning, growth, and overall performance of the mobile games category in Bazaar.
Be responsible for shaping how millions of users discover, install, and engage with games, while working closely with game developers and internal teams to grow the Iranian gaming ecosystem.
This role combines deep passion for mobile games with strong analytical thinking and strategic planning to drive installs, revenue, and long-term user engagement across different game genres.
Requirements
Deep passion for mobile games; follows global and local gaming trends, genres, and successful titles
Strong understanding of the mobile gaming ecosystem, including free-to-play models, monetization (IAP, ads), retention dynamics, and live operations
Solid knowledge of Iranian game studios and developers, as well as international game market trends
Ability to define and execute category growth strategies to improve installs, revenue, and active users
Experience analyzing data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps (installs, conversion rate, retention, revenue)
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights and prioritization
Ability to curate, evaluate, and select high-quality games for featuring and editorial placements with a strong quality bar
Experience creating and managing editorial calendars, promotional plans, and thematic game collections
Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, data, developer relations)
Capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and delivering results under regular deadlines
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive, while also being a strong team player
Daily gamer and active user of mobile games (the ideal candidate truly lives and breathes games)
