Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced Senior Survey Researcher to lead and manage survey projects that provide critical insights into customer satisfaction, market trends, public opinion, and other related areas. The ideal candidate will have expertise in research methodologies, survey design, data analysis, focus group facilitation, and report generation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Survey Design & Execution: Lead the design, development, and execution of surveys on a wide range of topics including customer satisfaction, market research, public opinion, and more.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and clients to understand the objectives of each survey, ensuring alignment with business goals and data requirements.
- Methodology & Tool Selection: Identify and apply the most effective survey methods, including online surveys, focus groups, phone interviews, and mail surveys, based on project needs.
- Focus Group Facilitation: Plan, organize, and facilitate focus group discussions, ensuring that all participant feedback is accurately captured and analyzed. Manage logistics, including participant recruitment, group moderation, and post-session analysis.
- Questionnaire Design: Develop and refine survey questionnaires, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance of questions. Oversee the testing of surveys to guarantee that they meet time and clarity expectations.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Supervise the collection of survey data across various platforms, ensuring high-quality and accurate responses. Analyze data to extract actionable insights and trends.
- Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and present comprehensive reports summarizing survey findings, with the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest research methodologies and industry trends, implementing best practices and improving existing processes.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Social Sciences, Marketing, Statistics).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in survey research, data collection, focus group facilitation, and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced skills), and survey design tools.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
- Survey Design Expertise: In-depth knowledge of survey methods, questionnaire design, and fielding techniques.
- Focus Group Facilitation: Experience in planning, moderating, and analyzing focus group discussions, as well as integrating this qualitative data with quantitative findings.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to present findings clearly and effectively.
- Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail in survey design, focus group facilitation, and data analysis.
