Tax & SSO Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Tax Supervisor to lead and oversee tax-related activities within our finance department. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Iranian tax laws and insurance regulations, along with proven experience in supervising tax processes, ensuring compliance, and managing tax risks in a complex business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and review the preparation and submission of quarterly tax reports, Form 169, annual income tax returns, and VAT declarations.

• Oversee all activities related to the Modian system and ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports.

• Monitor compliance with Iranian tax and insurance laws, regulations, and procedures, and ensure updates are properly implemented.

• Review, approve, and supervise the preparation of appeal letters and documentation for Tax and Insurance Dispute Resolution Boards.

• Identify tax and insurance risks and provide strategic, practical solutions to minimize exposure and ensure compliance.

• Provide guidance, coaching, and technical support to tax team members and review their work for accuracy and quality.

• Collaborate with other finance and business teams to address tax implications of business operations and transactions.

• Prepare management reports and provide insights on tax matters to senior finance leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax and insurance matters, with prior experience in a supervisory or senior role preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of Iranian tax laws, VAT regulations, insurance rules, and related compliance requirements.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
