Job Description
The Art Director leads the visual direction of projects, ensuring creative concepts are executed with high aesthetic quality and align with brand strategy. This role collaborates closely with designers, copywriters, marketers, and stakeholders to deliver compelling visual storytelling across channels.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the visual style, tone, and brand standards across all creative outputs.
- Lead concept development for campaigns, branding, advertising, and digital experiences.
- Direct designers, illustrators, photographers, and other creatives.
- Review and approve layouts, graphics, typography, photography, and motion work.
- Collaborate with copywriters and marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Present creative concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- +5 years of experience in design, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and execution.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); motion tools a plus.
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and branding.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with digital, social, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles.
- Ability to mentor and inspire creative teams.
- Experience working with external vendors and production partners.
