Role Summary
We’re looking for a visual authority with a strong aesthetic eye to own and elevate the quality bar of an e-commerce platform’s product visuals. This role leads and oversees creative direction across the content creation flow and outputs, ensuring produced assets meet a new, higher standard through monitoring, structured feedback, and continuous improvement of visual guidelines.
This position sits within the Content QA team and focuses on quality assurance, visual consistency, and scalable standards across product listing pages (PLP) and product detail pages (PDP).
Key Responsibilities
- Own the visual quality standards for product imagery across PLP & PDP
- Supervise and QA all studio-produced and AI-generated product visual content, including:
photos, videos, infographics, model shots, composite visuals, etc. - Continuously monitor outputs, provide actionable, production-ready feedback, and drive improvements across teams (photo/video/edit/design/retouch/3D/AI)
- Develop, maintain, and iterate visual guidelines and QA criteria—translating aesthetic feedback into clear production standards
- Set artistic standards for product gallery photos, balancing:
- aesthetic appeal
- clarity and accurate product representation
- strong feature communication
- alignment with audience needs and category expectations
- Define clear criteria for product video content to assess:
- usability
- engagement
- support for real user interactions on product pages
- Run recurring quality audits (sampling, scoring), identify recurring issues, and reduce rework through process and guideline improvements
- Stay ahead of trends in Fashion/Jewelry/Luxury/Art/Lifestyle and convert trend insights into scalable e-commerce standards
- Collaborate closely with Studio/Production, Category, Brand, Product, UX, and AI stakeholders to align quality with business goals and user experience

- Up-to-date, practical visual guidelines (photo/video/graphic/AI)
- A measurable QA checklist & acceptance criteria
- A “gold standard” reference library of best-in-class examples
- Periodic quality reports and improvement plans
- Cross-team calibration sessions to ensure consistent execution
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Creative Manager, Art Director, or similar role
- Ability to balance creativity with deadlines and business objectives
- Strong understanding of graphic design, composition, color, and typography
- Trend-aware creative mindset with strong visual judgment
- A strong portfolio in Fashion, Jewelry, Luxury, Art, or Lifestyle
- Strong ability to translate aesthetic feedback into production guidelines
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-volume e-commerce content production/QA environments
- Familiarity with AI-generated visual pipelines and their quality constraints
- Experience with content workflow tooling (DAM, task management tools, etc.)
- Strong sensitivity to truthful product representation and user trust
