Job Description:
The primary goal of this role is to plan, monitor, and successfully deliver AI projects within the defined timeframes and budgets.
The Project Controls Specialist aligns technical teams (AI/ML engineers, data scientists, web developers, and MLOps) ensuring optimized processes, timely removal of obstacles, and delivery of a final product that meets or exceeds expectations.
This role operates in a highly dynamic environment—where requirements frequently change, high levels of uncertainty exist, experiments and models may undergo multiple iterations, and project success heavily depends on precise change management, risk handling, and fast decision-making.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and detailed timeline broken down by tasks across different teams.
2. Agile/Sprint Management: Facilitate regular ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review) to maintain team velocity and transparency.
3. Resource Management: Optimally allocate human resources and hardware (e.g., GPUs/compute) across tasks while preventing team overload.
4. Quality & Timeline Control: Monitor adherence to standards and ensure on-time delivery of features, modules, and AI models.
