Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all procurement activities—from receiving Material Requisitions (MR) to final delivery at site—ensuring compliance with project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze Material Requisitions (MR) and technical specifications.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to approved vendors.
- Conduct technical–commercial bid evaluations and coordinate clarifications with engineering teams.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery conditions with suppliers.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Manage vendor communication and follow up on documentation, manufacturing progress, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with expediting, inspection, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor shipment arrangements, logistics planning, customs requirements, and delivery documentation.
- Maintain procurement records, reports, and supplier performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related fields).
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on procurement experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical EPC projects.
- Strong understanding of equipment, materials, and engineering documents.
- Proven experience in vendor negotiation, bid evaluation, and PO management.
- Familiarity with logistics, international shipping, and Incoterms.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement packages under tight deadlines.
