
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales and Marketing Business Unit Head to lead a major pharmaceutical business unit. This role carries full P&L accountability and is responsible for driving sustainable growth, commercial excellence, and competitive market positioning.
The successful candidate will lead a large cross-functional team and play a critical role in shaping business strategy, accelerating performance, and strengthening organizational capability.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute long-term business strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability.
Own full P&L accountability, including budgeting and forecasting.
Lead commercial excellence across Sales and Marketing.
Oversee product lifecycle strategy and successful launches.
Build and develop high-performing leadership teams.
Establish a strong performance culture and succession pipeline.
Ensure cross-functional collaboration and operational alignment.
Maintain the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles.
Proven track record of P&L ownership and business growth.
Strong strategic, financial, and commercial acumen.
PhD in Pharmacy, Medicine, or related fields.
MBA or advanced management degree (preferred).
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire large teams.
