Job Purpose
To lead and oversee all high-volume sales accounting processes, including revenue recognition, retail and marketplace sales, and settlements with vendors/sellers. The role ensures the accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial data to support reliable reporting and strategic business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the accurate and timely recording of all sales transactions (B2R, B2C, and Marketplace).
- Manage vendor/seller settlement processes and monitor related accounts.
- Review and analyze accounts receivable.
- Monitor cash flows related to sales and settlements.
- Supervise invoicing processes, sales returns, discounts, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Marketplace, and Product teams to ensure data alignment and integrity.
- Design and continuously improve financial processes tailored to high transaction volumes.
- Prepare analytical reports on sales performance and revenue.
- Identify and manage financial risks within the sales and settlement cycle.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal/tax regulations.
- Lead and develop the sales accounting team to enhance performance.
- Work closely with technology teams to improve financial systems and automation.
- Monitor receivables collection and mitigate credit risk exposure.
- Review and reconcile sales and revenue contracts in alignment with the company’s structure.
- Implement and enhance financial processes in accordance with organizational policies.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience working in e-commerce environments.
- Ability to analyze large datasets (Big Data mindset).
- Familiarity with financial and reporting concepts.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data-driven tools/software.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant professional experience.
- 3–4 years of managerial experience.
- Familiarity with Iranian tax and insurance regulations.
