

About This Role
This role is ideal for someone who can both spot opportunities and turn them into executed,
revenue-generating partnerships—combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Mission
Play a key role in the Business Development team by identifying, structuring, and executing
strategic partnerships across Iran’s digital and financial ecosystem to drive user growth,
transaction volume, and scalable revenue for MelliGold. This role is responsible for turning
high-potential opportunities into live partnerships that deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
• Identify partnership opportunities and design value-creating collaboration models with
external businesses
• Analyze the ecosystem (fintechs, marketplaces, super apps, etc.) to uncover high
potential opportunities
• Structure and design partnership models (revenue share, cashback, co-marketing,
distribution, etc.)
• Lead negotiations and close partnerships end-to-end (from A to Z)
• Own and manage each partnership project from:
o Stakeholder meetings
o Internal coordination (Product, Tech, Legal, Finance, Marketing)
o Execution and go-live
• Ensure timely launches and continuously optimize post-launch performance
• Analyze partner performance and drive improvements (conversion, CAC, GMV growth)
• Develop and document scalable partnership playbooks and best practices
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in Partnerships / Business Development
• Proven track record of structuring and closing partnership deals end-to-end
• Strong understanding of Iran’s fintech and digital ecosystem
• Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into revenue-generating partnerships
• Advanced negotiation skills and experience handling complex deals
• Solid understanding of financial concepts (pricing, margins, revenue share, settlement)
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data in decision-making and
negotiations
• High level of organization and ability to drive multiple projects to completion
• Strong execution discipline and commitment to deadlines
Nice to Have
• Strong network within the financial and digital ecosystem in Iran
• Experience working with large platforms (marketplaces, BNPLs, super apps)
• Experience optimizing marketing funnels within partnership models
• Track record of acquiring high-quality users through partnerships
