Job Description

A Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry drives brand strategy, product launches, and commercialization, requiring a blend of strategic leadership, regulatory compliance knowledge, and digital expertise.

We are seeking a strategic, innovative, and results-driven CMO to lead the development and execution of impactful marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness and drive business growth.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping market perception, managing key marketing projects, and ensuring the successful implementation of marketing objectives in a highly competitive cosmetics and pharmaceutical landscape.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Brand Management: 

  • Lead brand strategy, product positioning, and lifecycle management for new and existing products.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Stay current with industry developments, market innovations, and best practices in pharmaceutical marketing.


Commercial Leadership:

  • Oversee marketing, customer insights, and digital strategies to drive market share.
  • Supervise and lead the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels — including digital, print, and professional healthcare marketing.
  • Oversee marketing budgets, monitor expenses, and evaluate return on investment (ROI) for all marketing activities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain) to ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, marketing agencies, and healthcare professionals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all promotional materials and marketing activities adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with sales, clinical development, legal, and medical affairs departments.


Data-Driven Decision Making: 

  • Monitor performance metrics, customer behavior, and market trends for strategic optimization.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify target audiences, and growth opportunities.


Core Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

  • 10+ years in marketing, with significant experience in cosmetics and pharmaceutical. 
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, science, or business is required; an MBA or advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD) is frequently preferred.
  • a track record of cross-functional team leadership.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, digital marketing savvy, and leadership skills.
