Project Finance (Funding) Manager – Oil & Gas Holding (BOO)
Company Overview
A reputable Holding Company operating in the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical is seeking an experienced Project Finance (Funding) Manager to lead funding strategy, financing arrangements support, and project-level financial coordination for BOO and EPC projects across the holding and its subsidiaries.
Role Summary
The Project Finance (Funding) Manager will be responsible for supporting and coordinating project funding activities, including financing structuring support, documentation and governance follow-up, and alignment between project execution needs and financing requirements. This role requires demonstrated experience in project funding/finance in Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC environments—specifically for BOO.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of funding strategies for BOO and EPC projects (financing approach, funding sources, assumptions, and sequencing)
- Prepare/maintain project funding materials and analysis (e.g., cash flow funding schedules, scenarios, and key sensitivities)
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (PMO, commercial, procurement, engineering, legal) to ensure financing requirements are reflected in project plans
- Support negotiations and interface with external parties (e.g., banks, EPC contractors, investors, lenders’ advisors) as required
- Track and follow up on project financing governance steps (approvals, documentation, covenants/requirements where applicable)
- Ensure project-level reporting for funding progress, funding drawdown status, and variance explanation to senior management
- Contribute to due diligence and investment/financing committee packs for approved projects
- Promote compliance with holding policies and applicable regulatory/contractual requirements related to project funding
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in project funding / project finance for BOO and/or EPC projects(mandatory)
- Proven experience in Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, and/or EPC environments (mandatory)
- Strong capability in financial modeling and project cash flow analysis (funding schedules, drawdowns, scenarios)
- Familiarity with project financing concepts and documentation workflow (lenders’ requirements, approvals, governance)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work across multiple functions
