Managing, developing, and overseeing the molten gold trading line in the market, with a focus on increasing profitability, controlling risks, and establishing a sustainable supply and distribution network.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the molten gold buying and selling process.
- Establishing and developing relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, and market traders.
- Daily analysis of gold prices and monitoring domestic and global markets.
- Executing trades within the legal framework (formal sector) and understanding the mechanisms of the informal market.
- Verifying the purity (karat), authenticity, and quality of purchased gold.
- Managing price fluctuation risks and making rapid trading decisions.
- Recording and documenting transactions.
- Collaborating with finance and accounting departments for trade settlements.
- Identifying arbitrage opportunities in the market.
- Maintaining the security of transactions and confidential information.
- Providing PnL reports for the respective business line.
- Reviewing targets and developing projects to achieve them.
- Managing and recruiting personnel within the line’s infrastructure.
