We are looking a qualified WordPress Developer on a part-time contractor basis to support the development, maintenance, and technical improvement of company websites and related web properties. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining website performance and stability, and supporting ongoing business and marketing requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update WordPress-based websites.
• Implement new pages, templates, components, and website features based on approved requirements.  
• Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins as needed.
• Monitor and improve website performance, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Support integration with third-party tools and services, including forms, analytics, and marketing platforms.
• Coordinate with product, design, content, and marketing stakeholders to deliver required website updates.
• Ensure websites remain secure, stable, and up to date.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress architecture.
• Experience in custom theme development and plugin customization.
• Familiarity with website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with common WordPress plugins and page builders.
• Basic understanding of analytics, tag management, and marketing tool integrations.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git.
