Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, maintain, and enhance the security of the organization’s network infrastructure Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches Configure, maintain, and optimize FortiGate firewalls Manage and secure UniFi wireless infrastructure and access points Implement and enforce network and server security policies Harden and secure Linux servers and underlying operating systems Manage access control, network segmentation, and traffic filtering Review logs and investigate suspicious activities across network and server environments Identify vulnerabilities and provide remediation recommendations Support the design and implementation of secure network architecture Respond to security incidents and participate in root cause analysis Prepare and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and security procedures Work closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and support teams to resolve security-related issues Ensure configuration and operational best practices are followed across network and server layers Required Technical Skills Strong understanding of network security fundamentals Hands-on experience with: Cisco Routers and Switches FortiGate Firewalls UniFi Access Points / Wireless Infrastructure Good working knowledge of Linux server administration Solid

understanding of:

TCP/IP VLAN Routing & Switching NAT VPN ACL DHCP / DNS Experience with security technologies and concepts such as: Firewall policies IDS/IPS Web filtering Application control Network segmentation Access control Familiarity with Linux hardening and server security best practices Ability to analyze system, firewall, and network logs Knowledge of patch management and security update processes Strong troubleshooting skills in both network and system security domains Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with SIEM, Syslog, and centralized log management solutions Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or OpenVAS Familiarity with SSL VPN and IPsec VPN Understanding of MFA, Zero Trust, and Identity Security concepts Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, Grafana, or similar Familiarity with virtualization and data center security concepts Knowledge of Bash or Python scripting for automation Understanding of information security standards and best practices Qualifications and Experience 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in network security, infrastructure security, or a similar role Proven hands-on experience with Cisco and FortiGate environments Practical experience managing and securing Linux servers Ability to document technical processes and communicate solutions clearly Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and teamwork Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to critical incidents Nice to Have

The following qualifications are considered a plus:
