Data Scientist / AI Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Scientist / AI Engineer to lead end‑to‑end development of data-driven and AI-based solutions. You will work on machine learning, deep learning, LLM/RAG systems, experimentation, and scalable AI infrastructure. This role blends analytical expertise with hands-on engineering to build intelligent systems that directly impact product and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

·         Perform exploratory data analysis and translate business needs into measurable analytical problems

·         Design, train, and evaluate ML/DL models (classification, regression, clustering, time series, etc.)

·         Design and analyze controlled experiments (A/B tests and randomized trials)

·         Develop and deploy production-grade ML and AI services

·         Build and optimize LLM-based systems, including fine‑tuning, RAG pipelines, and evaluation workflows

·         Develop scalable data and model pipelines; monitor and improve system performance

·         Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to operationalize models

·         Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

·         Mentor junior team members and contribute to data science best practices

Requirements

·         3–5+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Applied AI

·         Strong Python skills; solid experience with NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow

·         Strong understanding of statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation

·         Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (MySQL or similar)

·         Experience deploying ML models using Docker/Linux and production pipelines

·         Practical experience with LLM applications (prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, RAG)

·         Experience with time series, clustering, or recommendation systems is a plus

·         Familiarity with Airflow, Spark, or scalable data processing

·         Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

·         Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or agentic AI frameworks

·         Experience building autonomous or tool-using AI agents

·         Knowledge of MLOps, model serving frameworks (vLLM, Triton)

·         Dashboarding experience (Tableau / Power BI / Metabase)
