Job Description

 Operational/Professional/Business

  •  To lead monthly account closing on time with accurate product costing by keeping records all of materials issue to and receipts from operation.
  • To control balances of all inventories on the company’s balance sheet and records accurately reflect physical amounts and quantities in warehouses, in transit and in work in progress.
  •  To ensure the inventory management and waste Policies are in place and operation inventories are in control. 
  •  To produce high quality of product cost variances analysis, reconciliation on COGS and CoGP.
  •  To coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to produce zero-based budget, CAPEX, CRT purchase volume, and product costing for CoPlan.
  • Ensure compliance to procurement and financial policies of all operations and supply chain spend and monitoring and reporting off all non-compliance cases, assist Senior commercial finance manager in addressing cases of non-compliance.
  • Obtain timely feedback for analysis of performances, variances and conformity to CoPlan.
  • To manage master standard cost data in the accounting system, perform standard cost reviews quarterly and adjust where applicable.
  • To participate in and contribute ideas to key Adhoc projects.
  • To calculate operation business cases and monitor the result through preparation of PIRs.
  • To ensure that all product costs accounting is in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Accounting Standards.


EHS (General Key Factors)

  • Ensure full Compliance with BVT EHS Policy and legislation and to utilize international best practices to meet EHS objectives and targets. 
  • To target and drive LTIR (Lost Time Incident Rate) and environmental incidents to zero.
  • To have sufficient information on EHS matters and risk assessment to manage EHS issues of self and team effectively.
  •  Minimize the exposure of all people on company premises to the risk of injury.
  •  Provide positive contribution to the EHS by regular and timely reporting of EHS related matters.  
  • Encourage involvement of the teams in continual improvement in all areas of EHS. 


Leadership

  • To ensure appropriate level of knowledge of Operations issues in order to be able to add value in supporting customer department needs.
  • To ensure appropriate level of knowledge of BVT Operations Finance toolkit (Green Book) and best practices, through following the changes in Ops Fin interact database.
  • To implement internal control procedures to ensure high level of internal control exists within Operations and Supply Chain.


Management

  • To be efficient in financial management & budget implementation of all major projects in Operations and Supply Chain.
  • To manage, maintain and review materials and finished goods product cost accounting information.


Relationship

  • To participate in meeting, activities/project with other members of Operations and Supply Chain teams and contributes to key decision-making process.
  •  Promote and maintain good relationship with peers within and between departments through active involvement in cross functional activities and projects.
  • Support the internal and external audit teams on items pertaining to factory finance


Innovation

  • To identify opportunities for productivity improvement, other savings, and optimise assets to the Operations Finance Manager


Education

  •  Relevant university graduate (minimum Bachelor)


Business Knowledge

  •  Six to eight years of experience in related field preferably factory/operations/supply chain finance
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Costing Principles


Technical skills

  •  Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards 
  •   Excellent computer user 
  •   Excellent analytical skill
  •  Good presentation skill
  •  Good Microsoft office and ERP knowledge


Personal skills

  • Fluent in English
  • Pro-active, dynamic and team player
  •   Good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Able to work without stress in tight deadlines
