We are looking for VASCloud Support Engineer To support, operate, integrate, and optimize VAS platforms in a telecom operator environment, ensuring high service availability, stable performance, and seamless delivery of value‑added services.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Telecom & VAS:
- VAS platforms (SDP, CBS/OCS, RBT)
- Key VAS services (SMSC, USSD, IVR)
- Protocols: MAP, CAP, Diameter, SIP, SMPP
VASCloud Support Engineer:
- Huawei FusionSphere/FusionCompute
- VM lifecycle management
- Virtualized network troubleshooting
Linux Administration:
- System services, logs, performance tuning
- Shell/Python scripting for automation
Databases & Middleware:
- Oracle, MySQL, Redis management
- Basic SQL and performance tuning
Networking
- TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, load balancers
- Packet analysis (Wireshark, tcpdump)
Integration & Operations:
- VAS integration with Core Network elements
- Incident management, RCA, troubleshooting
- High availability and performance monitoring
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields with 3+ years of experience in Telecom VAS operations and support
- Strong knowledge of VAS platforms/services (SDP, CBS/OCS, RBT, SMSC, USSD, IVR) and telecom protocols such as MAP, CAP, Diameter, SIP, and SMPP
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration, scripting (Shell/Python), and virtualization platforms such as Huawei FusionSphere/FusionCompute
- Familiarity with Oracle, MySQL, Redis, networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls), and troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and tcpdump
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, RCA, and communication skills with the ability to work in high-availability telecom environments.
