A leading holding company active in the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, and EPC sectors is seeking to hire a specialized Board Member in Planning & Strategy to guide the development and execution of overarching strategies for the group and its subsidiaries.
Role Summary
This key position is responsible for the high-level analysis, formulation, and implementation of group and corporate strategies and plans. The selected individual will actively participate in board meetings, contributing with an analytical and forward thinking approach to the evaluation of organizational plans and major decisions. This role demands a deep understanding of the alignment between the strategies, plans, and performance of subsidiary companies with the overall objectives of the holding company.
Key Responsibilities
- Active and responsible participation in the review and analysis of strategic issues, providing expert insights during board meetings
- Adopting an analytical and forward-looking approach in evaluating organizational plans, projects, and major decisions
- Maintaining a consistent focus on aligning strategies, plans, and the performance of subsidiary companies with the overarching goals of the holding company
- Adhering to professional principles, transparency, and integrity in reviews, studies, and the provision of expert opinions
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience and a strong track record of service on boards of directors
- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in strategic planning and business development
- Excellent proficiency in English language
