Overview:
The Business Development Manager –Vendor Financing will drive growth of our Financing solutions for vendors by building partnerships, originating opportunities, and managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions. This role owns the end-to-end business development cycle—from identifying partners and negotiating commercial terms to supporting onboarding and launch—working closely with Finance, Marketplace, Human Resources, Product and Legal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, engage, and close partnerships with banks, financial institutions, payment providers, marketplaces, and other distribution channels.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for bank partners; coordinate with business, legal, and Finance and Product teams on both sides.
- Negotiate partnership and commercial terms (pricing, revenue share, SLAs, risk-sharing/co-Financing structures, reporting requirements).
- Build and manage a pipeline from lead generation through contract signing, partner onboarding, and go-live.
- Track performance metrics (disbursements, conversion, activation, partner productivity) and provide regular reporting and forecasts.
- Ensure partnerships and processes align with regulatory and internal compliance standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within fintech, lending, banking, payments, or SME finance.
- Strong understanding of Financing fundamentals and fintech-bank partnership models.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close commercial agreements and manage senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Preferred: Experience in financing, supply chain finance, and familiarity with API/integration-driven partnerships.
