Senior DevOps specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure that powers modern AI-driven applications. You will work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows, optimize system performance, and ensure high availability of critical services. This role involves managing both containerized microservices platforms and high-performance workloads, including GPU-based AI services. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Linux systems, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, and production-grade DevOps practices.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for production systems across on‑premises and cloud environments.

·         Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficient resource utilization.

·         Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or similar tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

·         Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.

·         Manage Linux-based production servers including performance tuning, patching, and security hardening.

·         Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

·         Maintain and optimize relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including backup strategies, replication, and performance tuning.

·         Deploy and manage containerized backend applications (e.g., .NET Core services) and support frontend deployment pipelines for modern web applications.

·         Support AI and GPU-based workloads by configuring GPU-enabled environments, container runtimes, and performance monitoring tools when required.

·         Collaborate with development teams to improve reliability, deployment speed, and operational efficiency.

·         Troubleshoot issues across the full stack including infrastructure, containers, networking, and application layers.

·         Participate in on-call rotations and incident response processes.

·         Document infrastructure architecture, operational procedures, and system configurations.


Required Qualifications

·         5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.

·         Strong Linux administration skills in production environments.

·         Hands-on experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.

·         Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

·         Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

·         Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

·         Experience managing PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

·         Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.

·         Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, system performance, and distributed systems.

·         Experience designing highly available and scalable infrastructure.


Nice to Have

·         Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).

·         Experience with GPU infrastructure, CUDA environments, or deploying machine learning models.

·         Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security tooling.

·         Familiarity with GitOps workflows.

Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware.
