IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure including networking, servers, virtualization, security, and core Microsoft services. The role focuses on maintaining stable, secure, and highly available infrastructure environments and supporting daily IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure (Routing, Switching, VLAN, VPN, Wireless)
Administer Cisco switching infrastructure and FortiGate firewalls
Manage wireless networks and VPN solutions (site‑to‑site and remote access)
Monitor infrastructure health using PRTG and maintain documentation using NetBox
Deploy and maintain virtualization platforms and server infrastructure
Administer Windows Server services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange
Implement backup, patch management, and security solutions
Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and ensure service availability

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and FortiGate firewalls
• Experience with virtualization technologies
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure services
• Familiarity with monitoring, backup, and infrastructure security practices
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Microsoft, or VMware
• Experience in enterprise or datacenter environments
• Familiarity with ManageEngine solutions and VoIP systems (FreePBX)
