Overview:
In this role, you will be part of a lean, cross-functional team working end-to-end on the product. We are looking for individuals who bring not only technical expertise but also the ability to deeply understand problems and engineer effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python (FastAPI).
• Design efficient database architectures and optimize queries (PostgreSQL, Redis).
• Build and integrate robust RESTful APIs.
• Actively contribute to product decisions and problem discovery, rather than just executing tickets.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Maintain a strict focus on actual delivery (features successfully running in production) rather than just writing code.
• Analyze technical challenges and provide simple, effective solutions (avoiding over-engineering).
• Identify, debug, and resolve system issues and bottlenecks.
• Continuously improve code quality, system performance, and development processes.
• Leverage AI development tools to accelerate velocity without sacrificing quality.
• Help rapidly build MVPs and iterate based on user feedback.
• Contribute to technical and architectural decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with a lean product team in an agile environment free of heavy corporate bureaucracy.

Skills & Requirements:

Hard Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Proven experience in API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles.
• Ability to build features end-to-end.
• Ability to simplify complex problems and actively prevent over-engineering.
• Practical experience using modern AI development tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent).
