

We are seeking a highly skilled OCS Engineer to support and maintain the Huawei CBS (Converged Billing System) online charging platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling tickets, troubleshooting, configuration, and ensuring high availability of real-time charging services. You will work closely with various internal teams (e.g., Network, IT, Billing, Customer Support) to resolve issues and improve system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Core OCS / Charging Operations
• Support and operate Huawei CBS (Online Charging System) in live production environment
• Monitor real-time charging functions including credit control, balance management, rating, and discounting
• Ensure continuous availability of online charging services with minimal downtime
• Analyze charging behavior and identify discrepancies in billing or service usage
Incident Management & Troubleshooting
• Handle and resolve tickets raised in Jira within defined SLAs
• Perform detailed troubleshooting of system faults, service degradation, and performance issues
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical incidents
• Coordinate resolution with internal and external stakeholders
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Network Operations for signaling and integration-related issues
• Collaborate with IT/BSS teams to ensure data consistency and system integration
• Support Customer Support teams in resolving subscriber complaints
• Coordinate with Huawei vendor team for patches, upgrades, and technical escalations
Monitoring & Operations
• Monitor system performance and real-time charging flows
• Ensure system health and stability in a 24/7 high-availability environment
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support
Documentation & Knowledge Management
• Maintain documentation for configurations, known issues, and troubleshooting procedures
• Contribute to operational knowledge base and best practices
Required Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields with at least 3 years of experience in telecom or charging system operations
• Strong understanding of Online Charging Systems (OCS) and Huawei CBS platform (preferred)
• Familiarity with telecom charging concepts such as credit control, rating, and balance management
• Experience in incident management, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Knowledge of telecom environment and collaboration with network and IT teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in 24/7 high-availability operational environments
