Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities:

• Provide vision, direction, and product strategy to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the development life cycle.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of products and present complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with overall company strategies, and in this regard, the Product Manager should define customer needs and the associated features and solutions to meet those needs.
• Collaborate with development, quality assurance, and user experience to ensure the right customer problem is solved.
• Ability to divide large projects into iterative releases.
• Understand technical requirements for the completion of new initiatives and ensure their success.
• Facilitate communication across internal teams and explain the value of new initiatives.
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies in PM tools, processes, and workflows
• Having end-to-end ownership and sign-off on behalf of the business, as needed.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders, including customer feedback, sales teams, and marketing teams, to define and prioritize product features and improvements.
• Understand user needs, market trends, and competitive landscape related to user experiences in the education industry.
• Collaborate with development, quality assurance, and user experience to ensure the right customer problem is solved.

Job Requirements

• MA/BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Management.
• +4 years of experience, preferably in business applications development or product management for internal/external products.
• Familiarity with user experience design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers to create delightful user interfaces.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proven success in delivering complex technology products/services in a high-growth environment.
• Experience delivering products that incorporate advanced analytical techniques, data-driven decision processes, and applied statistical methods.
• Experience in leading product development from start to finish, including customer-facing products, with the ability to drive prioritization consensus across business units and serve as an effective liaison between customers and engineering.
• Demonstrated solid judgment and effective communication skills. Ability to see the big picture while navigating technology and development decisions and tradeoffs.
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
