We are looking for a creative, strategic Senior Product Designer with strong systems thinking to work alongside the product team, improve the user experience of current services, and lead the development of new ones.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to product strategy and business goals: Actively participate in shaping the product strategy and vision, working closely with Product Managers and company leadership to ensure design solutions align with high-level business goals.
Lead end-to-end design: Manage the entire process from Product Discovery, deep problem understanding, and user research to ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and final hand-off to the engineering team.
Systems thinking at super-app scale: Design information architecture and user flows in a way that meets the specific needs of each mini-app (e.g., buying a traffic zone pass or shopping at Shahrvand) while maintaining a cohesive experience across the entire super-app.
Contribute to Design System development: Work with other designers to develop and scale Shahrzad's Design System, increasing the speed and quality of the engineering teams' output.
Data-driven design: Work closely with Product Managers and Data Analysts to validate your hypotheses and improve designs using quantitative (Analytics) and qualitative data (User Research).
Mentorship and design leadership: As a senior team member, elevate the design culture within the team and help mid-level and junior designers grow.
Service Design: See the user experience beyond the screen and work on the physical touchpoints that connect urban services to the app.

Requirements & Core Skills:

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar roles for large-scale B2C products, with a strong focus on mobile application design.
• Strong portfolio: A portfolio that not only shows visual beauty (UI) but clearly tells the story of your problem-solving process, strategic decisions, challenges, and results (impact) in complex projects. (Showcasing experience with building or using Design Systems in your portfolio is a key advantage).
• Full proficiency in design and prototyping tools (specifically Figma and its advanced features like Variables, Auto-layout, and Components).
• Deep, practical experience in building, maintaining, and using Design Systems.
• Ability to accurately document designs, excellent communication skills to clearly explain the logic behind your work, and the ability to reason and defend design decisions to various stakeholders (C-Level, Product Managers, and Developers).
• Mastery of User Research methods (interviews, usability testing, card sorting, etc.) and the ability to extract insights from users across diverse demographics (Inclusive Design).
• Strong understanding of the technical limitations and capabilities of mobile and web (PWA) development to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on Super-apps, two-sided marketplaces, or domain experience in FinTech, Transportation, and fast delivery/on-demand services (Q-commerce).
• Familiarity with Service Design concepts and Customer Journey Mapping for services that blend the online and offline worlds.
• Experience working in fast-paced Agile/Scrum environments.
