To scale our systems and shape the next generation of our backend architecture, we’re looking for a Software Engineer – Backend who thrives on designing complex systems, making sound architectural decisions, and writing reliable, high-performance code that powers large-scale production workloads.

 
What You’ll Do

• Design and own backend services with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and security
• Drive architectural improvements and help evolve our system toward modern distributed designs
• Work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions
• Lead code reviews, improve engineering standards, and mentor other developers
• Build clean, well-documented APIs and internal services
• Continuously optimize system performance, reliability, and maintainability

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience (Laravel, Node.js, or similar)
• Strong experience in system design, microservices, and distributed architectures
• Deep knowledge of relational databases and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with caching, queues, and event-driven systems
• Passion for clean, testable, maintainable code
• Experience working with CI/CD and containerized environments

 

Bonus Points

• Experience with high-scale production systems
• Real-time data streaming (Kafka, Debezium, etc.)
• Designing APIs for complex platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
