Our primary backend stack is Python/Django, and we are looking for someone who can combine strong technical expertise with business-oriented thinking.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and Django.
Translate business requirements into practical and efficient technical solutions.
Leverage AI tools extensively throughout the software development lifecycle to improve productivity, quality, and speed.
Collaborate with product, business, and technical stakeholders to solve complex challenges.
Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Work across both backend and frontend components when needed.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
Mentor team members and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture.

Requirements
Significant professional experience building and maintaining production software systems.
Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and backend engineering.
Strong expertise in Python and Django, or another modern web framework, with the ability to learn Django quickly.
Working knowledge of frontend development and modern frameworks, preferably React.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for understanding and addressing business needs.
Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the financial services, fintech, banking, insurance, or investment industries.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and containerization technologies.
Experience designing and scaling high-traffic production systems.
Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring developers.
