DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

The Mid-Level DevOps Engineer at Ozone is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and improving the organization’s infrastructure platforms, deployment processes, monitoring systems, and operational environments. This role focuses on enhancing the reliability, security, scalability, and efficiency of production services while working closely with Software Development and Infrastructure teams.

The ideal candidate should be capable of managing and troubleshooting complex Kubernetes-based environments, demonstrate a strong sense of ownership toward service reliability, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform through automation, documentation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure
Manage and enhance GitOps workflows using ArgoCD
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Manage secret management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault
Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
Collaborate with development teams to improve build, deployment, and release management processes
Manage and maintain Linux server environments
Participate in the design and implementation of High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
Optimize service performance, reliability, and resource utilization
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and operational issues in production environments
Develop and implement automation solutions to reduce manual and repetitive tasks
Apply and maintain infrastructure and platform security best practices
Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture documents, and operational procedures
Participate in Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities
Collaborate closely with Development, Infrastructure, and Security teams

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts
Hands-on experience with ArgoCD and GitOps practices
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms
Experience with Docker and containerization technologies
Experience with HashiCorp Vault or other secret management solutions
Strong Linux administration, security, and troubleshooting skills
Basic familiarity with Windows Server administration
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and Zabbix
Familiarity with log management platforms such as ELK Stack or Loki
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts
Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible
Understanding of networking, load balancing, and reverse proxy concepts
Knowledge of infrastructure security, system hardening, and access management
Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot distributed systems
Strong documentation and technical writing skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Strong sense of ownership, continuous learning mindset, and problem-solving abilities

Nice to Have

Experience managing large-scale production Kubernetes environments
Familiarity with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio
Understanding of SRE practices and reliability engineering concepts
