At Tapsell, billions of advertising events are processed every day. We are looking for a business-minded analyst who goes beyond reporting and dashboards—someone who actively influences commercial decisions and drives revenue, margin, and monetization performance through data.
In this role, you will act as a trusted business partner to commercial leaders, translating data into insights, challenging assumptions, and directly impacting business decisions across revenue and profitability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial analytics initiatives from problem definition to actionable business recommendations, with direct impact on revenue, margin, and monetization.
- Identify and drive opportunities in revenue optimization and monetization across publishers and commercial channels.
- Analyze large-scale advertising and business data to uncover trends, risks, and growth drivers across the business.
- Own performance analysis across key commercial areas including revenue, margin, sales performance, customer behavior, and operational KPIs.
- Proactively identify business opportunities, risks, and anomalies, and challenge existing assumptions using data.
- Support and influence strategic initiatives such as pricing, packaging, forecasting, target setting, and promotional policies.
- Conduct deep root-cause analysis to explain performance changes and validate the impact of business decisions.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that directly influence senior decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Account Management, Campaign, Supply, and Business Lines as a strategic advisor and business partner.
- Define and own KPI frameworks, business definitions, and reporting standards in collaboration with BI and data teams, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the organization.
- Drive improvements in data quality, reporting accuracy, and monetization measurement in collaboration with data and BI teams, helping establish a reliable single source of truth for commercial decision-making.
- Design decision-support dashboards and analytical frameworks used across commercial teams.
- Communicate insights clearly and persuasively to influence decisions at all levels of the organization.
Job Specification:
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics, commercial analytics, revenue analytics, strategy, or business intelligence roles.
- Proven experience working directly with commercial stakeholders and influencing business decisions through data.
- Strong experience in digital advertising, AdTech, e-commerce, marketplaces, SaaS, fintech, or similar data-intensive industries is highly preferred.
- Experience in pricing, forecasting, revenue optimization, monetization analysis, or profitability analysis is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to turn complex analytical work into measurable business impact and decision influence.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect data to commercial outcomes.
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets and extract meaningful business insights.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL and BI tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of commercial KPIs such as revenue, margin, pricing, forecasting, conversion, and customer profitability.
- Ability to perform deep root-cause analysis and explain business performance drivers clearly and accurately.
