About the Role
The mission of this role is to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the organization's accounting operations by leading financial reporting, compliance, and control activities. This role supports informed business decisions through reliable financial insights, effective team leadership, and continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Review and approve accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reports prepared by team members.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely reporting.
  • Prepare management reports, variance analyses, and financial performance dashboards.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements while identifying financial risks and opportunities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies.
  • Improve accounting processes, automation initiatives, and ERP utilization.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff through coaching, training, and performance management
