Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in Go and modern backend architecture to join our high-impact engineering team.

You will design and implement highly scalable services, optimize system performance, and ensure secure integrations with financial services and third-party systems. This role demands both hands-on technical leadership and a strategic systems mindset.

Key Responsibilities

●     Build and operate systems that handle financial transactions with strong guarantees around accuracy, consistency, and idempotency.

●     Build event-driven services and asynchronous workflows.

●     Integrate with third-party services such as banks and payment gateways.

●     Optimize services for high performance and reliability in financial environments.

●     Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and the financial team to deliver seamless fintech experiences.

●     Ensure security, observability, and fault tolerance across all backend services.

●     Write structured, clean, and readable code, and contribute to engineering best practices.

●     Mentor other developers and help raise the technical bar across the team.

Must-Have Qualifications

●     5+ years of professional backend development experience, with strong, recent experience in Go.

●     Strong proficiency with the Gin web framework (or comparable Go web frameworks).

●     Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and Go concurrency (goroutines, channels, context).

●     Experience designing systems where data integrity and transactional correctness are critical.

●     Experience writing unit and integration tests for critical paths.

●     Proven experience with Keycloak or other IAM solutions (OAuth2 / OpenID Connect).

●     Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis in production-grade systems.

●     Hands-on experience in containerization (Docker).

●     Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).

●     Strong understanding of software security, monitoring, and API scalability.

●     Experience with async, message-driven architectures (e.g. Kafka or RabbitMQ).

●     Strong communication and collaboration mindset.

Good to Have

●     Experience in Fintech, Banking, or Payment Systems.

●     Orchestration experience with Kubernetes.

●     Familiarity with DDD, CQRS, or Hexagonal Architecture.

●     Experience designing reconciliation or ledger systems where balances must always tie out.

●     Comfort working in a polyglot environment.

●     Familiarity with Prometheus / Grafana for observability.

●     Contributions to open-source projects or tech communities.
